I joined the USGTF in 1992 and I am forever grateful for the
opportunities to meet, work with, and learn from some great
instructors. My motivation for wanting to be the best
teacher that I possibly could was simple: fear of failure. I
never wanted to give a poor lesson. I was so afraid of not
giving someone the right information and help that I became
obsessed with learning all that I could.
No one gets anywhere by themselves. It
takes watching other teachers, picking their brains, and
thousands of hours on the range. I have so much gratitude
for the many great teachers that I know, among them Dave
Shaver, Mark Harman, Jim Perez, Marty Delohery, Mike Levine,
and so many more.
For the past fifteen years, I have been
the head teaching professional at the San Luis Rey Downs
Golf Resort in Bonsall, California. After all these years of
teaching golf, I am still learning and continue to have a
strong passion for sharing my knowledge with others
